Everybody deserves to have a safe place to go. Everybody deserves to have at least one person they know they can trust.
Being that for Cassian can be inconvenient at the best of times, but Bix has no intention of turning him away anytime soon. But if she has to give him stitches again, she might reconsider that decision.

She's not that surprised to hear his voice so suddenly, but she doesn't startle, just looks out in the direction of where it's come from, peering into the gloom until he appears. Of course she's done a walk-through of the yard to ensure privacy, and she knows Cassian well enough to be sure he's done the same.
